Valdosta, Georgia Jul 2, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University announces that Frankie Denise Keeling completed her course requirements and was among the 185 bankers receiving graduation diplomas May 31, 2019. The three-year program, comprised of 190 hours of classroom instruction and additional remote coursework, included all aspects of banking, economics, and financial related subjects. Students traveled from twenty-one states, and Mexico, to participate in the advanced summer sessions. Ms. Keeling attended the program with financial support provided by the Georgia Bankers Association-member-funded Robert Moler Scholarship.
Ms. Keeling is a native of Valdosta Georgia. In 2010, she joined the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance and currently serves as a Senior Financial Examiner. Ms. Keeling is a Certified Examiner-In-Charge and leads teams of regulators in conducting complex examinations of state-chartered financial institutions throughout the southeast. Ms. Keeling’s financial expertise encompasses a broad spectrum, including former Revenue Agent with the Georgia Department of Revenue and Unemployment Insurance Tax Auditor with the Georgia Department of Labor.
Ms. Keeling received her Bachelors of Business Administration, in Accounting, and Masters of Business Administration from Valdosta State University in 1999 and 2003, respectively. She is a member of the Valdosta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Valdosta-Lowndes Section of NCNW.
