Mumbai, Maharashtra Dec 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group and the associated institutes celebrated Founder’s Day on December 22, 2019, on the occasion of the birthday of Chairman, Dr. Ajeenkya D Y Patil. Various social initiatives were undertaken by the institutes -Dr. D Y Patil School of MBA and School of MCA donated clothes and sweets to old age homes and had arranged a “Dr. Ajeenkya D Y Patil Lecture Series”. Dr. D Y Patil School of Architecture distributed clothes and Toys to Maher Orphanage. Dr. D Y Patil School of Engineering had organized a Blood Donation camp, Techno social activities, inaugurated the “Ajeenkya Competitive Exam Club”. Dr. D Y Patil School of Engineering and Technology had distributed sweets and stationary to Harantale school in Lohegaon. Dr. D Y Patil Dental School had organized a free Dental and Blood check-up. Dr. D Y Patil International School had arranged “Joy of Giving” and had supplied groceries in Alandi area.
A calendar was launched by the Vice President, Dr. E.B. Khedkar and the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Edmond Maher of the Ajeenkya D Y Patil University for the year 2020 with the theme “Global Diversity”. The event was graced with the presence of a number of dignitaries – Prof. P. V. Bhagwat, (Trustee), Sr. Sushant Patil (Advisor, DYPTC), Prof. Shubhda Chapekar (Principal, DYPSOA), Dr. Anand Shigli (Dean, DYPDS), Mrs. Surabhi Deshpande (Principal, DYPIS), and Dr. Ashok Kasnale (Principal, DYPSOET). The vote of thanks was given by Dr. M. Z. Shaikh (Principal, DYPSOE).
