For the Chosen Few 2020 - POSTPONED

London, United Kingdom Jul 30, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - The event celebrating dental professional success that took social media by storm in April, 2019 has been postponed.

Originally scheduled for June 24, 2020 in a secret London location, For the Chosen Few will commence at a later, not yet decided, date.

This star-studded event boasts attendance from respected dental professionals in the vanguard of UK dentistry, as well as clients and friends of Digimax Dental. For the Chosen Few 2019 became an overnight social media sensation with over 70,000 views and press coverage globally.

Attended by celebrities and esteemed, hardworking professionals within the dental community, For the Chosen Few has expanded beyond a simple celebration among colleagues and friends. Initially planned as a dinner party for 15 guests by Shaz Memon, in 2019, For the Chosen Few grew to a gathering of 150. For 2021 the guest list is 250.

In 2019, the glamorous event matched the detail of the wax-sealed and hand-signed invitations sent to the guests.

As an invitation-only event with limited ticket sales to uninvited, but vetted individuals, For the Chosen Few raises money for Wells on Wheels. This charity, which strives to make water more easily accessible to rural Indian communities, shares a founder with Digimax, the world’s highest rated dental marketing brand and the largest sponsor of For the Chosen Few.

Shaz Memon started his company at 18 and has since grown into a pioneering businessman and philanthropist. He emphasises the dual purpose of For the Chosen Few: to celebrate the hard work of the leading dental professionals in attendance and to support Wells on Wheels.

While modern marketing techniques emphasise the glamour and result orientation of the dental profession, the successes of For the Chosen Few attendees were not achieved effortlessly, or overnight. This event celebrates the unseen hard work behind achieving successes in dentistry. It provides a rare opportunity for industrious dental professionals to share meaningful conversations with other admired leaders in their field.

Supporting the Wells on Wheels charity is an even more noble aspiration of this over-the-top event. With the innovative water wheel, women and girls in rural villages can transport 5 times more water between faraway wells and their homes without enduring the physical strain of carrying water buckets on their heads. Making water more easily gatherable allows girls who would otherwise be tasked with getting water for their families to attend school.

The coronavirus pandemic necessitated the For the Chosen Few postponement, but it did nothing to undermine or alleviate the plight faced by rural Indian communities. Water is more important now than ever for taking extra hygienic precautions to minimise the spread of the novel virus. In addition to delivering water wheels, Wells on Wheels has committed to distributing thousands of facemasks among some of the Indian villages that have been hit hardest by the pandemic.

After the 2019 For the Chosen Few event, a guest remarked, “I have never seen anything like this in dentistry, or anywhere else for that matter.” It’s likely that the 2021 event, with more attendees and public recognition than before, will again surpass our expectations
