The Marina District Business Association (MDBA) proudly announces the launch of the first Dock Party in a new summer-long series at the 5th Avenue Landing. This inaugural event marks the beginning of a monthly waterfront gathering designed to bring together vendors, yachting culture, dock-and-dine experiences, and the greater downtown community.
The Marina Market at 5th Avenue Landing Dock Party will take place Friday, February 27th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (PST) at 600 Convention Way Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. The Dock Party will continue throughout the summer, typically held on the third Friday of each month.
Created to make waterfront culture more accessible, the Dock Party connects local businesses, marina visitors, residents, and families in a vibrant, inclusive setting. The event highlights fresh food, herbs, diaspora vendors, cultural artisans, music, elders, Kemetic yoga, and community wellness experiences — all against the scenic backdrop of the downtown marina.
Families are encouraged to relax at the 5th Avenue Landing, enjoy the nearby park space, and take advantage of ferry rides connecting beautiful Coronado to the stunning downtown waterfront marina. Guests can arrive by land or by sea to shop, dine, and experience dockside culture in a welcoming atmosphere.
