Carrara, Toscana Jul 16, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - FGI Yacht Group is pleased to announce the successful launch of the 53.5-meter M/Y SILVIA, which took place today at a traditional launch ceremony in Marina di Carrara, Italy. Representing FGI Yacht Group at the event were Founder and Chairman Frank Grzeszczak Sr., President Frank Grzeszczak Jr., and the yacht's owner, marking another important milestone in the new construction project.
M/Y SILVIA is the second hull in the series, following the successful delivery of the 50-meter SPIRIT, while introducing several notable distinctions of her own. Measuring 53.5 meters, SILVIA is immediately recognizable by her striking blue hull and advanced hybrid propulsion system.
Construction began in 2024, with naval architecture and exterior design by Piredda & Partners. The interiors were created by design company RADYCA, who was personally selected by the owner to bring his vision to life. The result is a contemporary interior that balances understated luxury with exceptional comfort, featuring bespoke detailing and carefully curated natural materials, including wood and stone, throughout the yacht.
Designed with both luxury and sustainability in mind, SILVIA is equipped with an innovative hybrid propulsion system. Twin MAN diesel engines are paired with electric alternators and lithium-polymer battery technology, allowing the yacht to operate in hotel mode for several hours with zero emissions while significantly reducing vibration and onboard noise.
Accommodating up to 12 guests in six well-appointed staterooms, SILVIA features a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck complete with panoramic views and a private terrace. Every aspect of the yacht has been thoughtfully designed to deliver an exceptional onboard experience for both owners and guests.
