So he has teamed with his wife (Michele) and their 2 youngest children of 8, and 33 yrs. of marriage (Mary, 15 and Maceo, 17), to produce and distribute his animated series, "Stan's Animation Hackstand" on the COX Cable System. The hand-drawn animated series is about a little girl named Puddin, growing up in NYC in the early 70s. Mark has been producing "Puddin" animated cartoons in various forms as shorts and an indie series on public access TV in Baltimore Md, NYC and Pa. since the mid-90s. "Stan's Animation Hackstand" will air Saturday mornings at 7 am beginning on October 24th, across COX's national footprint of 38 cities, reaching 4.1 million homes. Mark was formerly famous for self-distributing his Puddin animated DVD on the subway trains of NYC, to the tune of 250k DVDs sold over a 5 year period; a move that garnered him an earlier online distribution deal and a Hollywood agent. Mr. Stansberry hopes that his new endeavor encourages others to rethink their options when it looks as though doors have been closed on their ideas and dreams.
