Cheadle Gatley, Cheshire Apr 21, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The school was founded by William H. Herford, the renowned educational pioneer, who passionately believed that every child should be happy in their learning environment for them to thrive and flourish and face their future with confidence. Over the years, Lady Barn has continued to uphold these values, and has a deep routed ethos of nurturing each individual child, helping them to grow in confidence and foster a true love of learning.
To commemorate this milestone, Lady Barn has planned a series of events and activities throughout the year. These include the introduction of the 150th Award, designed to recognise and celebrate the commitment and contribution of current pupils to Lady Barn life, the launch of the Beyond Learning Bursary Fund, with fundraising taking place for this at the Anniversary Ball at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on Saturday 13 May, and an immersive Victorian Day for pupils and staff in the Summer Term.
"We are incredibly proud to be celebrating 150 years of Lady Barn House School," said Louise Higson, Headmistress, "For a century and a half, we have been providing our pupils with an extraordinary education whilst building a community of parents, staff, pupils and alumni that all have a part to play in contributing to the vibrant, innovative and happy family that we are. We look forward to the next 150 years of discovery, opportunity, and success!"
Lady Barn invites the community to join in its celebration of this significant milestone. For more information on the school's anniversary events and activities, please visit www.ladybarnhouse.org or contact Alex Lunn, Marketing Manager, at info@ladybarnhouse.org
