As a first generation Mexican American, Erika has spent her career encouraging diversity and helping aspiring members of the media make a living being themselves through her annual entertainment conference Passion to Paycheck. Join us for the Live Virtual Vision Board Summit in January 2021 and manifest your dreams into reality. Women around the country use magazines to create a vision for their futures and a new beginning to 2021. With pre-produced segments and Spanish translation available, we are anticipating 1,000 women from around the United States. This year we are particularly focused on Latina women who traditionally do not have access to personal growth knowledge or training. Interests include entrepreneurship, fashion and personal development.
"We are equalizing information distribution for all to prosper,” said De La Cruz. “Each year, we hold a vision board summit which is a facilitated goal-setting party for the year with our global community of incredible women of color. This year, we will not be holding it in person, but rather virtually. We expect around 1,000 women in attendance.”
Erika has a long history in the media, working her way up the ranks from radio to attending various high-profile red-carpet events on behalf of a variety of media outlets. Her personal struggles have allowed her to create a business of helping others after she and her family were left with nothing after the economy crash of 2008. From nothing, she found she had everything she needed to create a life she loves through resourcefulness and education, which she now shares with women and corporate leadership around the world. She is passionate about re-storing Latinx cultural stigmas in the United States: to iconic aspirational leadership.
