Under the Visa Waiver Program that came in 2009, some transit passengers and visitors can visit New Zealand by getting an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) from July 2019. A physical New Zealand Visa for Visa Waiver countries like the US and of EU won’t be required, which means that through NZeTA, they can visit the country for 90 days.
