Petersburg, Virginia Feb 1, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Anthony Anderson is the Creator of Anacostia: The Series and serves as a writer, producer, director as well as one of the stars of the Emmy Award-nominated show. Beginning with appearances in the music video for DMX’ hit song Get It on the Floor, Head of State, directed by Chris Rock, and HBO’s The Wire, the Anacostia native created Southeast Boy Productions and created his first feature film The Ties That Bind before embarking on Anacostia: The Series.
