London, United Kingdom Jul 25, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Out now, Dusk Till Dawn: Reloaded is the expanded edition of East London MC Eklipse’s 2023 project Dusk Till Dawn. The release adds new collaborators, remixes, and updated production to a body of work that originally marked a pivotal moment in Eklipse’s evolution as a writer and artist.
Rooted in London’s rap and bass culture, Reloaded pushes further into Eklipse’s sonic range — blending grime, alternative rap, boombap and jazz influences while remaining grounded in his sharp lyricism and lived experience. While the energy and intensity of the original remains intact, the rework introduces new emotional layers and textures, with moments of introspection, defiance, and reflection woven throughout.
The project’s lead single, “Humble Crumble,” premiered on BBC 1Xtra with Sir Spyro, who pulled it up live on air during its debut. The full project is now available on all major streaming platforms, with pre-orders and downloads also available via Bandcamp.
Speaking on the release, Eklipse says:
“People remember the name Eklipse because of the voice — but when I dropped Dusk Till Dawn, it reminded them I’ve been doing this my whole life. I dropped a book at 13. My first set was in the playground. And I’m from Newham, where the best MCs come from — that’s just facts.
Dusk Till Dawn: Reloaded allows me to tell the story of my life since the original project dropped. Every bar comes from real life. When I talk about pain, defiance, or triumph, it’s not for effect — it’s because I’ve lived through it all. This project shows my artistry. I cannot be placed in any one genre. I am a lyricist, an artist, so my message has to be told through different genres and sounds.”
A launch party and full live performance of the project will take place at Louie’s, Hoxton on August 1, featuring DJ sets and appearances from guests involved in the project.
