Kissimmee, Florida Sep 4, 2024 (Issuewire.com)  - “Dystopian Paradise” is a pictorial exploration in which artist Ángel Rivera Morales uses abstract conceptions to explore natural processes. His work depicts flowing matter, erosion, and atmospheric depth. It is meant to address ecological concerns in Puerto Rico, through the lens of historical analysis and its accompanying philosophical interpretations. This exploration embraces sculptural experimentation by addressing concerns related to the place of origin, identity, social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Ángel Rivera Morales is an artist, educator, and cultural manager with over twenty years of professional practice. He received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Puerto Rico, and recently earned a master’s degree in fine arts from Jacksonville University. He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and resides in Kissimmee, Florida since 2012. In 2015, he began working with fellow artists producing collective and individual exhibitions. Among his most important projects include “La Diáspora” and the collective effort of “Keepers of Heritage”. Ángel is currently part of the instructional staff at the Osceola County School for the Arts where he works as an Art Teacher providing educational services to middle school and high school students.
