Anderson, Indiana Apr 23, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Dying Defiantly founder, disabled military veteran, and stage four cancer gladiator Marshall Morris, is hoping to win the Orange County Choppers (OCC) Dream Chopper Contest. The contest winner will have the opportunity to build a custom chopper alongside the legendary star of the hit TV-reality series “American Chopper” Paul Tetul Sr. Morris passed all the preliminary group rounds and is now entering the quarterfinals of the contest.
The non-profit charity founder found out about the contest through social media and was immediately interested since he was a fan of “American Chopper” and a motorcycle enthusiast all his life. Marshall thought what better way for people to help his charity without having to spend any money, as they can vote for free daily and if he wins the custom chopper will be auctioned off to help fund Dying Defiantly.
“This is a great opportunity for us to get more people involved with the Dying Defiantly,” says Marshall Morris, Founder at Dying Defiantly. “If we win this contest, it will help fund the charity long past my time on the planet.”
Morris was diagnosed with an incurable and inoperable stage four cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) in July of 2021, and just given 9 to 15 months to live. Eight days after that diagnosis, he decided to found Dying Defiantly to help others facing a terminal diagnosis, by providing free support and counseling for the individuals, their families, as well as their survivors. Morris prides himself on not having a single sad day since he was diagnosed and spends each day lifting others up that our facing similar situations.
Dying Defiantly is proud to support the Hope for the Warriors Program who is the beneficiary of the Dream Chopper contest, and is asking people to come alongside them and vote daily.
