Servicing and maintenance can be carried out without putting brakes on the ongoing processes as fast loop sampling by-passes the mainline. This is considered a good crude oil sampling system. Besides, this system is perfectly apt for condensate or hydrocarbon products. One can find fast loop sampling system deployed alongside most of the metering systems.
Team OGSI said that specification of a Sampling and Analyzer Skid mostly depends on the project specification; however, a standard Sampling and Analyzer Skid would mostly have fast loop pumps, basket strainers with removable filtering elements, liquid density meter, viscosity transducer, water cut meter/water in oil monitor, flow-meter, pressure and temperature transmitters as well as indicators, flow control valve, process piping, drain system and automatic sampler with sample receivers. Besides, housing and shelter equipped with HVAC and insulation as well as gas and fire protection equipment is also there.
