While his subspecialty was in Microvascular and Replantation Surgery, his specialty was in General Surgery. At the age of 30, Dr. Georghy had already become a surgical consultant. As a consultant, he worked effectively and built a good reputation professionally. There is no gainsaying that his career kicked off excellently. He became the head of the Microvascular and Reconstructive Department. Although the burden of leadership can be quite heavy, he bore it graciously. Dr. Georghy was a selfless and exemplary leader in all aspects. Dr. Georghy performed the first replantation surgery of the upper limb in a non-teaching hospital. Prior to this, there has never been such surgery carried out in the whole world. His hypothesis is popularly known as Life Formation on the Planet Earth. Dr. Georghy believes that the Earth was created solely by a single DNA. According to Dr. Georghy's hypothesis life was created as a result of the creation of some protein which may have been enhanced by light flashes. These light flashes are believed to be the reason behind the transformation of the single DNA into mRNA which, consequently, led to the ‘spark' of life.
