The scholarship is available for university and college students undertaking medical courses to be doctors in the future. Students in high school with a dream to attend university and study a course in medicine can also apply for scholarships. The scholarship will be awarded to one deserving student based on an essay competition. The most outstanding student must participate in an essay competition of fewer than 1000 words answering the question “Becoming a medical doctor comes with a great deal of responsibility.
