[Winning Best of Show at Mayfest & Raises $2500 for Charity ]
2019 is the Year of Woman and Dillon/Rose is doing their part. Not only did Dillon/Rose take Best of Show during Mayfest, Tulsa’s annual art festival, but she also raised $2,500 for the Take Control Initiative.
The Take Control Initiative is a program aimed at reducing the high rate of unplanned and teen pregnancies in the Tulsa area. This program empowers women and families with the choice of when to have children, through highly effective, low maintenance contraception.
Dillon/Rose’s owner & designer, Rachel Rose, created the “Yoni” collection to be able to give back to her community and was able to raise $2500 with it over Mayfest weekend. Rachel is dedicated to growing Tulsa and supporting businesses and causes that do the same. Pieces from the “Yoni” collection are still available and 25% of the proceeds will go to Take Control Initiative.
