Budhlada, Punjab May 28, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Deep Datewas is the shining name of the Punjabi film industry. During the online interview with Sara Nicolas, he told, "I always try to write something near to reality and close to fiction, that can question people's minds."
During the interviews, he told Sara about his journey to becoming nothing to something. he said, "when I was 8 or 9 I started writing plays and poetry. when I reached 14 during the time period I already had 2-3 novels and hundreds of hundreds of poems/songs. near about 2012 I started writing film scripts and in 2015 I published his first book 'The Artist: Myth-Autobiography', next year I published my 2nd book 'Nami: Myth-Autobiography'. in 2016 to 2018 my few movies were shooted but all of them were in post-production or those were stopped because of some reasons. at the end of 2018, I worked as Additional Writer/All Narrational Dialogues in the Punjabi feature film 'Titanic (2018)'. in 2019 I worked as a screenplay writer and narrational dialogues writer in 'Rajibanda' short movies. In 2020 my first Punjabi feature film 'udna gear' released on tv, in which I worked as a story and scriptwriter. in 2021 my first Punjabi web series 'Ishqnaama' released that's available on OTT platforms. in May 2021 I released my first music album 'City of Mirrors' as a singer and artist. My Punjabi feature film Lanka's shoot has done now under post-production in which I worked as story and scriptwriter."
He also shared a letter from the famous Punjabi novelist Jaswant Singh Kanwal in which Jaswant Kanwal praised for his success after reading the 'The Artist: Myth-Autobiography' Book. In another question that what is he doing nowadays he said, "Nowadays I'm working on my Upcoming book 'Timekeepers of The Kings' that I'm gonna publish in 2023. either way, I'm working on the Feature film 'Vehli Janta' and some other web series."
During the interview, he accepted that he never received the payment he deserved. He spelled he signed Lanka feature film as story and scriptwriter only in 205$ and film's budget was 140,000$. and he also spelled that he got only 205$ for his next Punjabi feature film 'Vehli Janta' in which he is working as a Story and Scriptwriter and 'Vehli Janta's budget is almost 274,400$. He accepted that in the Punjabi film industry there is no value for writers. because if they ask for money then directors can easily replace them. if they don't work for as 200$ less money they will be unemployed. that's why writers are poor and they never got a chance to rise up.
During the chit-chat with Sara, he confessed that the film industry is full of lies. he has seen big lies in front of him people were saying. with the time people change their words. He also gave Sara a hint that he working on his next vocal album with 30 or 35 poetry collections. and he told me the next book 'The Artist 2' is gonna be published in November 2021. that is also connected with his big novel 'Timekeepers of The Kings' to which he is gonna publish in 2023.
