Pune, Maharashtra Apr 17, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Raj Process Equipments and Systems Pvt. Ltd. is pleased to announce the award of a prestigious turnkey project from Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd. for its Kolhapur unit.
Under this project, Raj Process will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system along with a Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant. This achievement marks another important milestone in Raj Process’s journey of delivering sustainable, efficient, and innovative process solutions to the industry.
The project involves the treatment and processing of approximately 800 cubic metres per day of raw spent wash generated from a C-molasses-based distillery, with the objective of producing around 13 tonnes per day of Compressed Biogas through advanced gas upgradation technology.
The post-biomethanation section of the plant will include critical systems such as a Degasser, Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE), Ammonia Stripper, and Spray Dryer. The project will incorporate modern and high-performance technologies including biodigesters, CBG systems, multiple effect evaporation, and spray drying, ensuring a robust and efficient solution for industrial waste management and renewable energy generation.
