Bryan, Ohio Jan 21, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Three skilled providers have joined the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers (CHWC) team and are now providing urology services to local residents five days a week. Dr. Scott Shie, Dr. Nicholai Kiehl, and Brandi Alwine, PA-C, all of Van Wert Health, began seeing patients at Bryan Hospital in November of 2021.
Dr. Shie and Dr. Kiehl are board certified by the American Board of Urology. Both physicians earned their medical degrees from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Shie completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at the Akron General Medical Center & Akron City Hospital. Dr. Kiehl completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at the University of Louisville.
Brandi Alwine is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Central Michigan University and has worked in the urology specialty for over a decade. Alwine specializes in a range of general urology care, including overactive bladder, recurrent UTIs, enlarged prostate, and many other conditions.
