The app will begin beta testing in late June and will officially launch Sept 1. Nice Move features the ability to track household goods on a moving truck with GPS capability, location notifications between the driver and customer, and features QR codes the customer can label and add details to then download and print to place on boxes for inventory. Anyone, any age, anywhere with a smartphone who is moving can use the Nice Move app. The app will be shareable to a limited number of people, per move, enhancing the household’s ability to pack, inventory, and track household items and cars while moving to a new location.
81% of households move without professional movers, so the QR code and scanning feature will be a convenient way to track how many boxes the user is moving and adding notes digitally within the app to track high dollar value items or items needed sooner than others. Customers will have the ability to track their boxes when they leave and enter the house or storage unit with the unique QR codes and scanner. 19% of households in America move with professional movers. The Nice Move app allows 24/7 GPS tracking for a peace of mind for customers to know where their shipment is. Also, this app can be shared with up to five other people, not including the moving company, so family members can access the location. Only the user can contact the mover through the app; the other five will not have the ability to communicate.

Moving companies benefit from Nice Move because the customer pays for the app, the company receives a code from the customer to sign their company up, and in turn, the company is added to the app’s directory. This is a freeway for moving companies to track their truck for their own management benefits. Finally, Customers are able to give feedback on their experience with their moving company while they have the ability to see where their household goods are. 12.9M household moves occur in America annually.
