Memphis, Tennessee Apr 22, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - With severe thundershowers, the Tuesday and Wednesday in Memphis, TN before Clyde Publisher’s annual Family Star Gazing event, President, author, and actress Elizabeth Clyde of Clyde Publisher’s was determined to believe that the stars would align for her nonprofit’s event to take place at one of the most beautiful parks in the state of Tennessee, and arguably the United States, Shelby Farms.
Landing at the Memphis International Airport at 3:43 PM from Panama City Beach she added, “My dear husband forgot my dress and so I was fortunate enough to find a cute pink Black Clover Pro Golf hat that said, “Live Lucky” and skirt set inside the Houston International Airport. I feel really lucky to have been planning this event since October and to get families engaged in STEM. My overall motive is to bring families together with all of the events that we do and always on a beautiful day to enjoy great food and to support the next generation of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. When I checked last night there were more than 100 families registered so we are eager to get there and greet all guests for this family stargazing event!”
Over 200 families ended up gathering to enjoy food from food trucks: Mexico in Memphis, Voodoo Cafe, Lazeez Shwarma, Top Dawgz, and Mathnasium of Wolfchase and Oak Court under the clear blue sky of Shelby Farms.
Mrs. Albert of Grahamwood Elementary School was awarded the Clyde Publisher’s STEM Teacher of 2022 award. She will be receiving two all-access passes to the Cosmosphere Museum provided by the museum located in Hutchinson, Kansas along with a gas card and lodging provided by Clyde Publisher to show appreciation for her efforts in Science. Mrs. Albert has been a Science teacher for 39 years and this was her first award to acknowledge her efforts.
