Burlington, Ontario Jan 12, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - ClimateCare Co-operative, Canada's largest network of independent HVAC contractors, is pleased to announce that Tradewinds Eco Energy and Cross Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. have joined the co-op as Discovery Program Participants.
The addition of Cross Heating & Air Conditioning helps ClimateCare cement its presence in the extended Greater Toronto Area adding branches in Waterloo, Listowell and Hanover. The company was founded in 1987 by Brad Cross who continues as its president.
Tradewinds Eco Energy operates across much of maritime Canada with multiple offices near Moncton, as well as in Fredericton, Pont-Landry and Charlottetown, PEI. This significant addition represents the first addition of a Discovery Participant anywhere outside Ontario.
At the same time, ClimateCare has entered into an agreement for distribution with Kerr Smart Energy, underpinning its commitment to serving existing and prospective new customers across the greater Atlantic Canada geography, and in keeping with ClimateCare's theme of being truly local.

Concurrently, former Discovery Program Participants Waza Home Comfort in Whitby, Ontario and Absolute Comfort Control Systems in Windsor, Ontario have exited the Discovery program and become Enterprise members of the ClimateCare Co-operative.
