Catholic Priest Writes Motivational Book on Faith from A Player’s Perspective

Author shares inspiring stories about athletes who lived virtuous lives

Morristown, New Jersey Jan 8, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - The Art of a Virtuous Serve: Extraordinary Accounts of Faith and Service from a Tennis Perspective by Samuel Monaco Jr. aims to highlight the organizations and tennis programs that support and motivate others in their journey towards faith.

In sharing inspiring stories of tennis athletes and other personalities, Monaco hopes that it will encourage readers to live a virtuous and spiritual life. The book also draws attention to the Catechism of the Catholic Church dedicated to the topic of virtues. This focus on virtue is meant to inspire readers on the heroic deeds of those featured in the book.

The author espouses that if we train our minds and keep it attuned with the teachings of faith, as much as we train our body, we can all achieve more. This kind of mindset of wanting always to evolve and be better is very important not just for athletes but for every person out there who are in a constant mode of improvement. He believes that the power of the mind and its capacity to visualize should be part of our everyday life that we don’t take for granted.
