Gurgaon, Haryana Jan 10, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Gurgaon based automobile service and maintenance startup; GoMechanic have entered into Pune with subsequent expansion to the city of Nizams; Hyderabad.
The startup aims at targeting major hotspots across the cities to cater to the diverse demographic with their cost-effective car servicing solutions. With a strong presence in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad and Mumbai; Pune and Hyderabad mark their 7th and 8th venture respectively. The startup has already partnered with various workshops spread across both the cities roping in more than 18 workshops.
Founded in 2016 by IIM-A graduates; Amit Bhasin and Kushal Karwa, GoMechanic is a network of multi-brand, multi-speciality, technology-enabled car service centres offering a plethora of car services like general servicing, denting and painting, car interior care and more. Backed by marquee venture capital firms such as Sequoia Capital, Orios Ventures and Snapdeal Founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, GoMechanic operates out of 70+ workshops in Delhi-NCR and another 30+ in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Sources also hinted at GoMechanic planning to establish operations in Bangalore, Jaipur and Chennai within the next year.
In a previous press release reported by autocarpro.in, GoMechanic announced its partnership with the Big Oil; Exxon Mobil as its exclusive lubricant partner.
GoMechanic states that, customers can get a basic service package for their car starting at just Rs. 1999, depending on the car make and model. Users can book service through their website or Android app and can avail facilities like complimentary pick-up and drop-in, a warranty on car services, general car inspection and cashless insurance claim. Utilizing a centralized spare procurement model and low overhead workshops, GoMechanic claims to offer up to 40% saving on car services compared to authorized service centres.
