Lampkin was able to plan and execute the entire project within a period of two months. “There were many tough days (mentally, physically, financially, socially, and emotionally) and not understanding what I needed nor wanted to do out of life, since I was no longer working and was going through a health journey that I wouldn’t wish on nobody,” stated Lampkin in an official statement for the press.

November 26, 2018, I made a promise to God that I will buckle down and write a story that was in my head by January 26, 2019. After the successful publication of her first book, Lampkin is already working hard on her new children’s books. The books will share the lives, feelings, and emotions of children who are also going through cancer and dealing with varies insecurities. Lampkin, says about her 2nd project, “I want to get a million of my children books into a million small hands (1-year-olds to 1st graders around the world)”
Always working hard to give back to the community and work for the greater good, Lampkin is highly proactive about education and empowerment. She is also the founder of a youth group called the Visions of the Minds, Inc.
