Halifax, Nova Scotia Aug 18, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Melody Wolfe, the Internationally Acclaimed Christian Author, has just confirmed that she is planning to release her latest novel, an Apocalyptic Trilogy, titled When She AWOKE. The book is about a former criminal mastermind from East Hastings, BC, who moves to Halifax, NS, to finish her sentence on parole. While she is just settling into the East Coast laid-back lifestyle, she wakes one morning to discover that while she was sleeping, millions of people have disappeared off of the face of the earth. Puzzled with answers, the young atheist is determined to resist the belief that it may have been what is known in certain Christian circles as The Rapture of the Church.
Wolfe, a long-time Bible Expert in her own right, has also confirmed that this particular trilogy is being written with Hollywood in mind, as with most of her works of fiction.
"I really love the characters that I incorporate into my work. I draw inspiration from people that I find intriguing, and then I proceed to create the characters in my books so that I have real emotion as a motivator to do them justice. It was like that with The Godmother. I had based my characters on real people who've inspired me."
When asked why she pulled The Godmother from the shelves soon after its release, she said that it was out of respect for one of the main characters who was suffering from a major, systemic injustice and had been wrongfully convicted. She would not reveal the name of the leading man in the book, but sources have revealed that it was a tribute to Wolfe's icon, Jimmy Melvin Jr.
Wolfe indicated that the release date of her book would be before Christmas of this year, with the sequel to be released six months later.
