The cultural association Art Without Borders for Peace and the World Organization of Integrated Artists (OMAI) invite you to participate in the most ambitious and important project of recent years.
What is it about?
It is the "LARGEST MOSAIC MURAL IN HISTORY", with an initial goal of 1,000 works under the category of the largest number of participating artists and children. It will be a monumental work under the thematic axis of PEACE and the ENVIRONMENT with the aim of registering it in the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS. the paintings will be joined in the form of a mosaic, to create a gigantic work that will make history
The first stage of the project will be presented in the city mocorito - Sinaloa in Mexico during the celebration of the IIX SUMMIT OF THE WORLD ORGANIZATION OF INTEGRATED ARTISTS and the IV INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ART WITHOUT BORDERS FOR PEACE. In December 2022.
It is an inclusive project, without cost and in permanent growth, and consists of the construction of a large mural formed as a mosaic or puzzle with works of square format, pieces by artists and children from different countries of the world.
A project sponsored by the Anjor Foundation Group of Mexico, an organization under the direction of Carlos Antonio Sosa Valencia, who will also be managing the registration of the mural in the Guinness World Records book
The expression "mosaic" is used because it is made by a set of paintings made by various techniques by creators from different areas.
Emerging artists or artists with experience may participate, as well as children who love to paint from any of the countries that have a volunteer manager who will oversee receiving and sending the works to Mocorito, Sinaloa, Mexico and whose shipping cost will be covered by the organizers.
This activity aims to record as the largest mural in the world in the Guinness Book of Records.

It is an inclusive, free, and constantly growing project that consists of a large mural with square format works to create the mosaic-like structure formed with squares of different sizes established and elaborated by artists and children from different countries of the world.

OBJECTIVES
-These artists and children express themselves from the pacifist and environmentalist perspectives.
-Register the largest Mural in the world under the category of the largest number of artists and children around the thematic axis of Peace and the environment
-Strengthen in the child and youth population the values of peace and the environment through art.
-Present to children art as an alternative to life, healing and a means of expressing their emotions.
-To sow in the children of the world the seed of peace and environmental awareness.
-Make visible the importance of peace and environmental awareness to build and strengthen the social fabric.
-Seek the integration of local, national and foreign peoples and artists.
-Democratize the participation of children and popular artists in spaces generally forbidden to them.
BASES OF PARTICIPATION
Open call from June to October 2022. Adult and child artists of all nationalities will be able to participate. In the case of children under 10 years of age, the advice of a guardian is requested to ensure that the child's vision of Peace and the Environment is reflected.
All kinds of creators such as painters, photographers, sculptors, poets, and writers can participate in the mural.
Each creator can participate with one or more works. The artist or creator will previously send the image or images of their works to each manager or coordinator of the respective country for curatorial purposes.
All the works will be donated to the project that will be part of the Cultural Center of Mocorito which is coordinated by the Grupo Anjor Foundation.
The paintings will be delivered to each manager in each country or region before being sent to Mexico, (The cost of this shipment to Mexico is borne by the organizers)
Last delivery date in Mexico, is October 14, 2022.
MEASURES OF THE WORKS
(THE ARTIST CAN CHOOSE ANY OF THE PROPOSED MEASURES).

Recommended measures for children:
30X30 Cm. (12X12 inches)
Measures for adults:
16X16 inches, 20X20 inches, 24X24 inches, 28X28 inches, and 32X32 inches.
Keep in mind the previous measurements add 1.6 inches more on each side to mount the canvas on the Example stretcher. The size of 16 x 16 = 17.6 inches
THE MEASUREMENTS MUST BE EXACT, WORKS IN OTHER SIZES, ON PAPER, OR COPIES OF PAINTINGS ON CANVASES ARE NOT ALLOWED.
If a work does not coincide with any of the stipulated measures, there will be no way to place it with the others so it will be discarded by the manager of each country. Please note this requirement.
OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS
Paints. Only the canvas will be sent (No frame or wooden frame) The paintings will be made on fabric, canvas, light wood such as Tripex, or another type of resistant and low-weight material (no paper, no works with glass or delicate supports), Works in wood or acrylic should not exceed 3 cm in thickness including the frame or support. Each piece of work must have an edge or space of 4 cm or 2 inches of fabric, to tighten in the respective frame.
Photographers, poets, and writers will be able to participate with a short text that will be printed on canvas size 60X60 cm or 16X16 inches. The canvas graph is a digital print on canvas, canvas, or canvas (in French giclée).
Poets and writers will be able to participate with a short text that will be made and signed with hand and letter (BRUSH, CRAYOLA, PEN, MARKER ETC.) of the author on a canvas size 16X16 inches. THEY ARE NOT DIGITAL PRINTED PARTS.
Sculptors: The sculptures to participate must be forms of reliefs (low or high), in square format, with a depth of 3 cm. These pieces must be made of lightweight materials such as acrylic, synthetic resin or fiberglass to facilitate mounting on the mural. Each piece may not exceed one kilo (2.2 lb).
The submitted work will maintain the intellectual property of the artist. The author-artist donates the work(s) and fully assigns the rights of the piece to participate in the mosaic-mural, this includes the right to:
Exhibit it in future cultural exhibitions or art exhibitions.
Publish images of the selected work on the official website of the event and any other website, application, sign, and/or promotional material associated with the cultural or artistic project for an indefinite time, as well as in other publications or media on paper or electronic.
The mural will be itinerant and constantly growing to beat its own record.
DELIVERY OF WORKS
All participating works will be sent in physical form to the address stipulated by each manager in each territory or country (see list of managers below), by the artist or manager, with the prior approval of the manager of each country (you must send a photo first to verify that it meets the requirements and be approved (this requirement is more to verify the square format, the support material and that the work adheres to the subject, does not have a level of aesthetic or academic qualification, for the inclusive purposes of the activity)
The works will be DONATED to the Grupo Anjor Foundation of Mexico, sponsoring entity and will be part of the Cultural Center of Mocorito and will participate in future traveling exhibitions in several cities or countries.
There will be new editions with a greater call to beat their own record every year.
Deadline: Reception of the works on September 20, 2022.
CERTIFICATION.
Certification of donation and participation of each participating work will be delivered, the official certification will be sent to the artist in digital format for printing if desired.
The board of directors of the Guinness World Records office in the UK will be asked to issue certification to each of the participants selected in the construction of the mural.
TECHNICAL SHEET OF EACH WORK
