Sacramento, California Dec 17, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Janapriyan Levine, a musical visionary raised in NYC and based in California, released his new single “Tera Hua,” a pop ballad of unfulfilled love. The song was released on all audio platforms and on Youtube on December 17, 2021, at 9:00 pm IST //10:30 am EST.
An explorer at the frontier where east meets west, this ambitious producer has branded himself by his fresh and disruptive sound. "The song is an anthem of dedication and love to someone who is no longer there. While there is something tragic about that, there are also lighter colors in the music that are simply wearing a sad disguise if you listen closely,” says Levine.
Levine has a reputation for teaming up with premiere singers and Grammy-winning artists. He is releasing Tera Hua in collaboration with Vikalp Sharma and Ekabhuya animation. “I asked Vikalp to sing on this track because the music I was writing was raw and would be a good fit for his free-spirited voice. In many ways, I am an explorer of the Indian sound and Vikalp is poised in the same way toward rock and roll. I knew he would give us the voice that the song deserved.”
Vikalp’s lyrics capture the moment when you realize you are in love with someone only after they are gone. But as Levine adds, “hidden deep within this song there is also a subdued triumph that lingers long after it is over.” The one-of-a-kind video concept came in a flash of inspiration in the middle of the night. A true artist must follow these callings, and Levine jumped up and got to work, finding mannequins, putting television sets on their heads, and bringing white doves to life in this unique performance from the talented multi-instrumentalist.
As one of the few bold and expressive creators who knows exactly how to go for what he envisions, Janapriyan worked on bringing his narrative of loss into light through this single. “When you watch the video now, the room you see is exactly how it appeared in my mind that night at 3 AM,” he adds.
