For Shopify merchants, the standard method of blocking a customer involves blacklisting an email address or other pieces of information. However, sophisticated fraudsters and serial returners circumvent this by simply using a different email address while using the same physical address or credit card.
Blox solves this "whack-a-mole" problem. It is currently the only solution on the Shopify App Store that automatically links all customer identifiers. If a merchant blocks a fraudster’s email, Blox’s algorithm instantly flags and blocks any future orders associated with that person’s address or credit card regardless of the email used.
