Following the completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Arizona in 2006, Dr. Jaiswal went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2012. She then completed her postgraduate training at Virtua Hospital in South Jersey, where she earned her General Practice Residency certificate in 2013.
For four years, she worked as an associate dentist in Washington Township. From there, she decided to build a practice where she can work on elevating dental experience expectations, thus marking the opening of Love Your Smile Family & Aesthetic Dentistry.
A lifelong student, Dr. Jaiswal is an active member of the South Jersey Dental Study Club and the Spear Dental Study Club. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association, as well as the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2017, 2018).
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
On a more personal note, Dr. Jaiswal is an avid reader, whether it’s dental journals, textbooks, or fiction and is always looking for recommendations for a good read. She is married to a CHOP pediatric hospitalist. They live in West Deptford and have two children.
As a family, they love to try out new restaurants, visit the Philadelphia zoo and museums, hang out at Riverwinds, and binge-watch Netflix. As a couple, Drs. Jaiswal has donated their time practicing medicine and dentistry in the underserved areas of Costa Rica.
