As headline partner for the anniversary edition, Cunard reinforces a relationship with the Society of London Theatre that has developed over the past seven years through performance programming at sea and theatre-focused voyages. The cruise line will present the Cunard Best New Musical Award and will also offer select guests and partners opportunities connected to the ceremony itself.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, describes the partnership as a natural alignment between two institutions shaped by storytelling and heritage, “We’ve always believed in celebrating exceptional experiences whether that’s on stage in the West End or on board our ships,” she says. “Supporting the Olivier Awards in their 50th year is about celebrating five decades of remarkable talent while also championing the future of British theatre.”

The partnership also forms part of Cunard’s wider cultural programming across its fleet; this includes a new collaboration with celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger, known for dressing international red-carpet talent, who is creating an exclusive styling experience for Grill Suite guests. The initiative reflects the same sense of occasion traditionally associated with awards season in London.
