Best Organic-Farming Startup Of Rajasthan

Jaipur, Rajasthan Feb 6, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - Rajasthan is experiencing a lot of development in the agriculture sector. Many Agri Startups have set up base in the State and are doing pioneering work for the benefit of the environment, the farmers, and the consumers.

One such startup is Abja Organic Farm in village Chomu Purhoitan District Sikar near the famous Khatu Shyam temple in Rajasthan. Established in 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis by Ashish Kumar and Aditya Raman, the Organic registered farm has become a centre of attraction.

Aligned with Nature, Abja Organic Farm combines both innovative and traditional farming techniques to grow chemical-free nutrient-dense crops for making delicious healthy food.

At their farms they practice natural regenerative farming; a holistic practice that uses the power of photosynthesis in plants to sequester carbon in the soil while improving soil health, crop yields, water resilience, and nutrient density. The farmlands are certified by Rajasthan State Organic Certification Agency.

Interestingly, Ashish Kumar is a practicing Vedic and Yogic systems scholar, and a philosopher. He practises and promotes holistic living and has vast knowledge about Ayurveda and various ancient Indian sciences.

On the other hand, Aditya Raman holds an MBA degree from The David Eccles School of Business, in Information Technology and Strategy and has a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering (Chip Design & Embedded Systems) from The College Of Engineering, University of Utah, USA. Now he is into full-time organic farming.

As per Aditya, the primary focus of Abja Organic Farm is growing and creating high-quality organic food, and not on the increase of production per acre. They choose cultivars that have high nutritive content on maturity. While planting seeds, they make sure that optimum spacing between crops is maintained for them to grow healthy. He also remarked that the crop density and yield ratio per square meter is low which makes sure that the natural plant growth hormones focus on creating high-quality grains/fruits/flowers with an increase of flavour, taste, and nutrition.

Ashish who is a storehouse of knowledge remarked that, “ As the world progresses, old knowledge is diminishing. We are inspired by Ayurveda and our finished products are made using old traditional family recipes.”

As of 2022, the duo is farming in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The Uttar Pradesh farms are PGS India Organic registered.

Thru Abja Organic Farm not only they are rebuilding the soil but also generating employment in the villages and adding to the Rural economy of India. Remarkably, instead of putting up a food processing factory they, on the contrary, have employed rural women and their food is handcrafted in small batches by household village women in and around their farms, in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Further extending their belief and philosophy of selling natural, chemical-free, high-quality gourmet food, and promoting a holistic lifestyle; they created a cutting-edge online farm store (www.AbjaOrganicFarm.Com) to sell their high-quality food.

As per Aditya, they are making daily ship-outs to all metro cities across India and their food has travelled as far as Singapore.

Abja Organic Farm’s USP is fresh farm-made high-quality food. Their stoneground flours, wood-pressed oils, and most food items are made within 2-3 days of their packing date and shipped out immediately.

Recently they have listed themselves on Amazon so that more people can benefit from their healthy food offerings.

Rajasthan has come a long way from being a barren desolate state. Agri Startup in the likes of  Abja Organic Farm have planted their roots in the State; aiding as well as adding to the environment and the economy of the State and Country.
