He then entered the internship and residency training programs at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he became chief resident in medicine. Furthermore, he completed his fellowship in haematology and oncology at Harbor-UCLA.
Dr Rosenbloom is a former vice-chief and chief of the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also a nationally recognized expert on Gaucher disease and was appointed Clinical Professor of Medicine in 1988 by the UCLA Medical Center.
Dr Rosenbloom is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Dr Rosenbloom has published 66 scientific papers and abstracts in medical journals. He has also directed several drug trials. Dr Rosenbloom is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
