The Monetary Protestant is a project to promote the awareness that ‘we are all monetary protestants now’. From the author of ‘Bitcoin: A Revolutionary Investment', Thomas Kuhn has started a new online movement to spread awareness. The phrase “monetary protestant” refers to a comment by then-President Richard Nixon ‘We are all Keynesians now’ after removing the U.S. dollar gold hedge in 1971 and embracing Keynesian economics. As well as it is a reference to Richard Nixon’s quote, the statement ‘we are all monetary protestants now’ also refers to the date and implication of the release of Bitcoins whitepaper. Released on October 31st, the same day that Martin Luther pinned his ‘ninety-five theses’ to the door of Castle Church to launch the protestant revolution, it is considered that Satoshi Nakamoto, the writer of the Bitcoin whitepaper gives the same notice as Martin Luther.
