Chicago, Illinois May 19, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Internationally renowned Fathers' Rights Attorney Jeffery M. Leving will be a featured speaker at the 22nd annual Families and Fathers National Conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 19. His topic will be the civil rights of minority fathers in the criminal justice system and eliminating systemic barriers to father involvement with their children in family law.
Leving will be joined on a panel by two professors, Armon R. Perry of the University of Louisville and Jay Fagan of Temple University, who will discuss the social impacts of father absence. The moderator will be Dr. James C. Rodriguez, president and chief executive of the Fathers & Families Coalition of America. The panel is scheduled to run 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. CDT (8:45-10:15 a.m. PDT).

The conference is taking place at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel in Los Angeles. This prestigious event assembles leaders and experts in child welfare, early childhood, marriage and family therapy, social work, criminal justice, psychology, education, counseling and family service work, and presents important lectures, workshops and plenary discussions. The lecturers will address the impact of fatherlessness and fathers’ impact on children’s development.
