Newark, New Jersey Sep 8, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - ASAP Systems, the market leader in Inventory System, introduces the Inventory Request, Transfer Out and In Function. This latest inventory enhancement is available for Enterprise Level users with independent locations.
The Inventory Transfer Function offers Enterprise Level users visibility and access to inventory data for all Standalone and Multi Site Systems within the Enterprise, and the ability to easily transfer inventory items from one independent system to another.
Prior to the release of this feature, Standalone and Multi Site Systems did not have visibility to inventory data within another system and required a multi step process to transfer inventory between one another.
For example, Standalone A is unaware of the inventory available in Standalone B, but the Enterprise has total visibility and can recognize the need to transfer required inventory from A to B. The Enterprise user initiates the transfer request, Standalone A transfers out the inventory, and Standalone B transfers the inventory in, and continues to operate independently. This eliminates unnecessary spending by Standalone B to purchase additional inventory that can be provided internally by Standalone A.
For easy access to the Inventory Transfer Function, each Enterprise Standalone System will have a new icon in the menu labeled, “Transfer”. This icon will have 3 tabs, “Transfer Requests, “Transfer Out”, and Transfer In.
This function offers a separate set of history views and highly configurable user-made reports.
