Santa Fe, New Mexico Jun 17, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Jacqueline Rudolph, a prolific activist artist in Santa Fe, NM, opened her studio on the famous Palace Avenue on June 1, and was invited to exhibit at this year’s Art Santa Fe being held at the Sweeney Convention Center July 11–13.
Showcased will be several of Jacqueline’s series of portraits of iconic women and “women warriors,” featuring such activist leaders as Wanda Sykes, Gloria Steinem, and other impressionistic works from her “I AM,” Icon Warriors, and Women Warriors series, along with examples of her winged figurative sculptures and activist art-wear, such as the hand-painted leather Warrior jacket worn by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
“These portraits gleam off the walls, are thought-provoking and inspirational,” said Joyce Bogosian, Chief Marketing Officer of Artemis Art Management, Inc., which represents Jacqueline and her work.
“As a native New Mexican, Latina and political activist,” expressed Jacqueline, “my mission is to bridge art and activism. I strive to inspire people of all ages and ethnicities to embrace the diverse cultures of the world, ignite social and political awareness, to get involved and indeed make a difference.”
“According to a recent report by Art Market Research Institute,” noted Ava Stern, CEO of AAMI, “the demand for art that speaks to social issues has been on the rise. Our aim is to elevate the visibility and impact of our artivists.”
Art Santa Fe provides a forum for Jacqueline and other talented artists to display their work in a public space, whereas Jacqueline’s studio is open by appointment only.
Attend Art Santa Fe July 11–13 at the Sweeney Convention Center, Booth #419. A drawing will be held to win a limited edition giclee print of one of Jacqueline Rudolph's paintings.
