Gandhinagar, Gujarat Jan 5, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Argusoft is delighted to announce that it has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh (UP), to implement the eKavach Comprehensive Primary Health Care application across the state of UP on 23rd December this year. SEWA Rural, an NGO based out of Bharuch, Gujarat, shall be providing training support for this program which has been a work in progress for some time now.
eKavach is a comprehensive public health platform engineered using MEDplat - Argusoft’s low-code CPHC - Community Public Health Care platform. The eKavach Application is a workflow-based system that is customized to synchronize with the Community Health Workers/Health Facility Staff operations workflow in the state. Over 1.38 Cr families, which amounts to registered beneficiaries in excess of 5 Cr, have already been digitized by ASHA workers using the eKavach Application. The State is also using the RI module to track the Routine Vaccination of children under 5.
eKavach helps collect and maintain the health data of beneficiaries as a longitudinal health record across various modules, including the Family Health Survey, Reproductive and Child Health, Non-Communicable Diseases, Immunization, Training using a Learning Management System, support the National Programme for Control of Blindness, and others.
Other successful implementations using MEDplat are TeCHO+ (Gujarat, India), where 14,000+ field health workers use the Application to reach 65 million beneficiaries in the state, and Impact Health in Nigeria, where the platform is used to plug gaps in the public healthcare system. Earlier this year, Argusoft signed an MoU with NHM, Telangana, to deploy MEDPlat-based LMS for training their community health workers and medical officers on High-Risk Pregnancy management.
