Los Angeles, California Oct 26, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Los Angeles, California, August 2, 2021, Executive Produce Anthony West (A Dubb) of Dubb Records was sued in California Superior court for Fraud and Breach of contract. A judgment against Mr. West was rendered whereby he was required to pay Plaintiff the full amount of his investment and court costs.
Mr. West had advertised himself as a successful Executive Producer/Songwriter and philanthropist seeking investors for a new startup business. He advertised his business venture on Craiglist.
Plaintiff invested a substantial amount of money in Mr. West's business venture. Plaintiff's claim in the lawsuit was that Mr. West breached his contract by not allowing access to the financial statements and the business was a complete fraud.
