Announcement of Asheville Equine Therapy’s participation in the Seen Through Horses Campaign 2022.

Seen Through Horses showcases the incredible impact horses have on mental health while bringing together members of the equine community to help support equine-assisted mental health services.

Asheville, North Carolina Sep 26, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - Horses have been incorporated into various human health and wellness services for many years, however, involving horses within the context of mental health is relatively new. Horses, in partnership with psychotherapy or counseling professionals, can make a big difference in the mental health challenges so many people face and help them heal safely and powerfully.

Asheville Equine Therapy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and PATH INTL. Center Member that is driven by a single goal: to do our part in helping enhance the lives of all including those with disabilities, special needs, PTSD, and trauma through equine assisted services. We strive to help build gratifying genuine relationships and make a positive impact with all our pursuits through equines. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our participation in the Seen Through Horses Campaign, 2022.

Seen Through Horses are a peer-to-peer campaign convening individuals, mental health professionals, celebrities, and influencers to help increase awareness, public engagement, and raise funds. Asheville Equine Therapy is among 50 nonprofit organizations working to improve access to programs incorporating horses into mental health and personal growth. This collaborative campaign coincides with Mental Illness Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day, running October 3-10, 2022.

Asheville Equine Therapy has joined the Seen Through Horses Campaign in hopes of making equine-assisted services more accessible to all in our community and bringing awareness to these powerful therapeutic services.

In addition to Title Sponsorship from Zoetis and Premier Sponsorships from Horses for Mental Health, Equine Network, and Arenas for Change (ARCH), Seen Through Horses has secured Premier Partnerships with the American Horse Council, Horses & Humans Research Foundation, Natural Lifemanship, PATH International, Temple Grandin Equine Center at Colorado State University, Polyvagal Equine Institute and The HERD Institute.

We encourage you to join this initiative by choosing Asheville Equine Therapy to support before and during the campaign, October 3rd-10th, 2022 by becoming a fundraising participant or making a one-time donation at  https://www.classy.org/team/445390
