New Britain, Connecticut May 9, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Miss United Crown of America, the national pageant platform spotlighting leadership, purpose, and personal excellence, has officially appointed New Britain, Connecticut local, Anna Beresford as Miss Connecticut 2025. As part of the inaugural class of state titleholders, Beresford will represent the state of Connecticut in the upcoming national competition on September 21, 2025.
A freshman in college, Beresford is currently double majoring in journalism and communications while also pursuing her real estate license. Outside the classroom, she is the founder of Anna’s Awareness Initiative, a mental health advocacy organization that has reached over 7,000 people globally through education, outreach, and online campaigns.
