At his Teenage, he has also performed internationally during his college days. In 2016, he performed in Seoul and Busan in South Korea. In 2017, he has performed in Busan, South Korea, and Fukuoka, Japan. He has also featured in Aprokashito 2 Episode 18 with the Bangla Band, Crossroads. This season has also featured many popular singers and musicians such as Anupam Roy, Joy Sarkar, Sidhu, etc.
Recently, Aniruddha Roy has achieved something extra-ordinary and makes India proud of being an independent musician. He has been awarded as the Best Artist in EDM/Electronic Genre by DJOOKY Music Awards. He is the first Indian to get this award. More than 50 countries were participating in this prestigious international award.
The song which got nominated for this award is “Tribe Within”. It is an Electronic Dance song with Aniruddha’s unique style of Tribal elements adds a very hypnotic essence to listeners to bounce with its grooves. Tribe Within is now officially available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, amazon music, apple music, youtube, jiosaavn, and many more.
Besides this, Aniruddha Roy also has a keen interest in tribal music. Due to which he founded a unique choir “KALINGA AVATAR – The Indian Tribal Choir” under the mentorship of the great philanthropist and social activist, Dr. Achyuta Samanta Founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). This Choir was launched by Shri Akhilesh Mishra, Director-General(Ex), Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi.
Though, Aniruddha Roy has achieved and contributed quite a lot at this young age still he states “I am still standing far from my goal to achieve, to contribute something good to the society, to my country”.
