Pune, Maharashtra Aug 15, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - It is a proud moment at Clairvoyant India Office as they announce that Amita Mirajkar, the co-founder & CEO of Clairvoyant’s India operations, would be jurying Manufacturing Innovation Challenge 2020 organized by Nasscom in partnership with Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India (MeitY).
Covid-19 has been harsh on a few industrial sections, and manufacturing is one of the worst-hit industries. Business continuity has become a challenge for companies in the manufacturing industry. This scenario has compelled all manufacturers, be it big or small, to rethink how they operate and re-imagine standard operating procedures. With the advent of a new normal where social distancing and frequent sanitization are necessary to keep the workforce free of any infections, manufacturers are increasingly investing in innovative technology solutions that can help them maintain business continuity and achieve sustainable growth.
Digitization of processes has now become a necessity rather than an extension of the current operations. To help accelerate such digital solutions, Nasscom’s IoT & AI CoE has organized this Innovation Challenge spanning July & August 2020. Amita, who is representing Clairvoyant, a company that has been providing deep-tech solutions to various industries across the globe, has been invited to join the panel of Juries to judge this event that intends to support the startup ecosystem across the nation. This event showcases the belief that innovation does not take place in isolation, and that extraordinary innovations take place at the intersection of diverse eco-system.
This challenge encourages innovators to showcase their solutions using emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Analytics, and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality. As part of this program, the Nasscom CoE team has carefully analyzed several use cases received from various organizations and selected three challenges:
- Health and safety of workers
- Predictive maintenance of high-value assets
- 360° virtual tour of a manufacturing plant
