Cleveland, Ohio May 11, 2026 (Issuewire.com)  - Cleveland, Ohio — Elizabeth Wanjiku Manning, MSN, APRN-CNP, RN, is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult and geriatric primary care. With more than 25 years of nursing experience and over seven years practicing as a nurse practitioner, Elizabeth has built a career centered on compassionate, patient-focused healthcare that addresses the complex needs of diverse adult and aging populations.

Elizabeth currently provides adult and geriatric primary care services through Abode Care Partners of BrightSpring Health Services and at Kirtland Woods of Journey Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation. Her professional philosophy emphasizes treating patients with dignity, educating individuals and families, and improving quality of life through comprehensive and personalized care.

Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio, in 2018 after previously completing her RN/BSN Degree at the same institution with a 3.9 GPA. She later expanded her expertise through a Post-Master’s Certificate in Palliative Care and specialized telehealth training for healthcare professionals. Earlier in her career, she completed her RN Diploma at St. Luke’s School of Nursing in North Kinangop, Kenya, while also pursuing leadership and communication development through the Maxwell Leadership Team.

Throughout her extensive career, Elizabeth has gained experience across a wide range of healthcare environments, including primary care, hospital medicine, palliative care, labor and delivery, surgical nursing, pediatrics, and community health. Prior to her current roles, she provided community-based primary care through Matrix Medical Network and delivered palliative care services with the Cleveland Clinic, where her responsibilities included inpatient palliative care, hospice evaluations, and on-call support.

Her earlier clinical work also included positions with MetroHealth System as well as teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Cuyahoga Community College. Before relocating to the United States, Elizabeth served communities in Nairobi, Kenya, as an HIV/AIDS educator and maternal health provider, experiences that further shaped her holistic and service-oriented approach to healthcare.

Elizabeth’s passion for geriatric care began long before her professional nursing career. As a child growing up in Kenya, she was naturally drawn to helping older adults within her community, often assisting elderly neighbors with daily tasks and caregiving needs. Today, she continues to find deep fulfillment in caring for older patients, building relationships, providing education, and helping individuals maintain dignity and quality of life throughout the aging process.

In addition to her clinical work, Elizabeth is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Iota Psi Chapter. Her dedication to nursing excellence and patient advocacy has earned numerous recognitions, including the Faces of Care Award from the Greater Cleveland Nurses Association and induction into the Ursuline College Hall of Fame.

Outside of healthcare, Elizabeth maintains a strong commitment to wellness and personal discipline. She is a former Jazzercise instructor and holds a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo, reflecting her belief in balance, resilience, and lifelong personal growth.

Through decades of compassionate service, patient education, and clinical leadership, Elizabeth Wanjiku Manning continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adult and geriatric patients throughout Ohio and beyond.
