Westlake Village, California Feb 12, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Amalfi Jets, the leading Private Jet Charter and Jet Card Provider based in Los Angeles, has announced today, February 9, 2021, that the firm will start accepting the cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, as a valid form of payment. This payment option would only apply to select clients that have previously flown with Amalfi Jets and have been vetted by Amalfi Jets.
Bitcoin payments will be accepted for all On-Demand Charters and Amalfi One Jet Card purchases for its select clients. All payments with Bitcoin must be paid prior to each trip and will include an additional 20% Transaction Fee which will cover the volatility of the market price of the currency.
“This new method of payment would allow clients to pay for the Amalfi One Jet Card or charter trips when standard wire transfers are unavailable during specific times such as weekends and bank holidays,” said Leanne Joy, Vice President of Operations at Amalfi Jets.
The initiative to accept Bitcoin has been under discussion for a few months. Following a careful evaluation and news of multinational corporations warming up to the currency, we decided to open it up to the Private Travel Sector.
