College Station, Texas Oct 26, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Lifegrowth Psychological Child and Family Services and its affiliate company Alli will be presenting a seminar free to the public entitled, “Unstuck Parenting: Four Keys to Your Strong-Willed Child’s Success.” This informative seminar will explain the key elements of “Unstuck Parenting,” its new parenting support service, and give participants tangible guidance for working with their children.
“I designed ‘Unstuck Parenting’ from decades of working with parents struggling to raise strong-willed kids,” says seminar presenter Dr. Carmen Morrison, Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, and Licensed Psychologist. “Too often, all attention is focused on helping the child while the parents are fighting not to burn out, give in, or check out completely just to survive. The impact on a child can be devastating if their parents go under. The approach works,” she continues, “because it attends to all the areas that support good parenting: the parent’s cognitive/emotional abilities, nutritional health, relational skills, and brain-based parenting techniques.”
