Roanoke, Virginia Jul 30, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - New VPSA basketball coach Keith Graves talks about the high expectations placed on his VPSA team and "succeeding famously".

"This year will be one of the best talented teams VPSA guys has ever had and we are expecting to perform at a high level " Keith Said. Our guys program has incredibly high expectations from within and from without. I and a few other coaches are working on some big things this year and we are planning to compete on a level that our boys' basketball & football team.

We have a great group of guys that are on campus at VPSA. We are going to succeed in the classroom and on the court.  

The kids that I have spoken with love it at A VPSA and they take care of them. 

Virginia Prep Sports Academy is a rigorous prep/ post-graduate, an academic-athletic program for students who wish to continue their desire to earn a four-year scholarship at an accredited four-year college.

The mission of the VPSA post-graduate sports program is to provide young women and men with the opportunity to continue their education and to obtain a college degree while participating in collegiate sports. The program pushes students in practice, test their character, leadership abilities, and gets them committed to their education.

VPSA staff is dedicated to working towards realizing your child's dreams by teaching them self-discipline, hard work, and commitment to their goals.

Graves recently won his 10th championship and received a prestigious Coach of the Year award.

Graves is a 29-year-old basketball coach from Albany, Georgia. Graves holds 6 national FIBA championship titles – a record for a coach of his age and has worked with professional basketball players (O’Darien Bassett and Donnell Harvey) to help refine his coaching techniques. Coach Keith also is a client of Hoopkinect management and he will also coach the national team next summer in West Africa.  He is represented by top agent Andrew Fair who also owns Hoopkinect management.

Graves has hosted free basketball clinics, along with giving away free gear, equipment and much more, for children in Xi’an, China, Tuen Mun Hong Kong and this spring he will be doing the same in West Africa.

My goal is to come in and win right away and I will.  I am very thankful to be apart of the VPSA family.
