Miami, Florida Feb 22, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The tour marks the 3rd season of “Africa 2 the World: DJ Series” with the goal of showcasing even more music from Africa to an even larger audience on YouTube and Instagram.
This tour marks the first connection of the DJ Series to the motherland. Countries visited on the tour include Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, and Egypt.
DJ’s featured in this season are some of the most impressive the show has seen, like South African DJ/Artist Myztro, known for international hits like “66” and “Tobetsa” and top Ghanaian DJ Vyrusky who boasts the title of official DJ for KiDi. Others include Uncle Bubu and Simss of Nigeria. Kidylax of Tanzania, the Hijab DJ of Zanzibar, Green Candy of South Africa, DJ Spicy of Ghana, and Zenoja in Egypt.
“We are so grateful to be able to work with these DJ’s and artists in each country. They each have a special artistry and for them to put their necks out there for the show and believe in me, I will never forget that” Zenoja said. Besides filming in remote locations like Zanzibar’s Island beaches and the Pyramids of Giza, Africa 2 the World was able to partner with major streetwear brands by using their shops as film locations. Some of the partners include Free the Youth in Accra, Waffles n Cream in Lagos, and S.W.A.N.K in Johannesburg.
The show will release mixed episodes every Friday at 11 am EST only on YouTube. This will go on for 9 weeks of episodes. In final comments Zenoja said, “The family we’ve built and the moments shared over the last couple of months are gifts of life but now it's time to live up to our word, follow through with our content releases and start planning next season with dope locations and bigger parties.”
