Grafing bei Munchen, Munich Sep 2, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - A piece of sad news for fans and all kinds of music lovers as musical diva Adele has just announced a halt in her career as she is preparing to take a big break from her streak of performance. The announcement of her indefinite break was made by the singer at her Munich residency on Saturday after wrapping up her performance. She said that it is going to be her last 10 performances after she finishes her weekend shows in Las Vegas. The singer said, “I’ve really enjoyed performing. It’s been three years now, which is the longest I’ve done and probably the longest I’ll ever do.”
The singer also added, “But I have 10 shows left after this, back in my residency but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break.” While these last three years were very close to her heart just like her crazy fans, the artist also expressed how this break is very much needed by her, “It has been amazing, I just need a rest.” She also became emotional while talking about the break and further expressed, “I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live the life that I've been building and I will miss you terribly.”
Adele’s performance at the Munich residency started on August 2 and it is marking her first performance in mainland Europe since she last performed in 2016. On the other hand, her final 10 shows will be taking place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, starting from October 25 and will continue up to November 23. By the end of this show, the singer will be performing a total of 100 shows since she started. When asked about the planning for the break, the singer said, “I don't have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
